Requiem Sonata 1 and Curse of the Eel 3 on sale at Fluke 4/11/15
Guess who has new books! No it's me! I'll have these 2 for sale, as well as other comics for sale at Fluke in Athens, Georgia tomorrow! Come by if you like, and any unsold books will be added to my bigcartel store after the show! I'll also be doing sketches if anyone would like one, so if you're a fan of my sketches of the day and are in the neighborhood, come on by!
Curse of the Eel is about a goth girl named Connie who is being terrorized by bullies. One day, seeking shelter from them in an abandoned house in the woods, she accidentally summons up an Eldritch-like Eel creature that is like the monsters she has loved to read about since she was little. Can the Eel make her life better, or is it just another nuisance that Connie has to put up with every day?
Requiem Sonata is about a famous classical pianist named Zhi. She has traveled the world playing Mozart, Schumann, all of the greats and she is loved for her skills. After a bizarre performance, Zhi's body is found at the bottom of a bay. Detective Simoné, an ardent fan of Zhi's, takes up the case to discover why her favorite musician died.

The Feat of Nobody, Inks
Update: I added the last two pages, I figure it should be fine since the lettered and colored files are what people would see if they got the anthology. So here are the completed inks.
The Feat of Nobody is completely inked, although I don't think I have permission to post up the lettered files, so unfortunately this will have to do until I know 100% what's okay. I will have this available as a printed book at the upcoming mini comics convention: Fluke.
For these pages I used my Raphael brush and my china marker for a lot of the rendering. Going forward I think I'm gonna go easier on the china marker. I just really wanted to push it on this comic, mainly spurred on by the rendering in Stuart Immonen's art in Superman: Secret Identity, which is probably one of my favorite comics ever. I thought approaching this comic with that tool would help bring some texture and grit to this western.
I don't think I'll ever be 100% satisfied with the work I do, but I feel like I've leveled up in some ways but I'm really lacking in inking in others. I can't wait to get to the next project though. With school starting tomorrow I hope to update more frequently with both comic pages and sketches. Thanks for reading!

Heroes Con
Heroes Con was a great experience for me. I met a lot of great creators and got to talk shop with people I never would have if I was still back in El Paso as a security guard. I got some really helpful portfolio reviews from some of my favorite artists and I feel jazzed up and excited to work again. I'm currently on a project now that I can't really discuss, but I promise to start putting up new content and art work soon. For the moment though, here are 2 short one page comics about weird little things that happened to me that I thought would be fun to share.
